International business with a presence in the centre of Perth have a a requirement for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent, full time basis. Working as part of the finance team and reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful candidate's duties will include;

  • Assistance with preparation of monthly management accounts within agreed timescales and to tight deadlines including preparation and processing of journal entries, accruals and prepayments
  • Fixed Asset record maintenance with monthly calculation and posting of depreciation
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Preparation of Quarterly VAT returns
  • To undertake any other duties from time to time as required by management
