Job Summary

Grade: Grade 6 £19,293 to £21,120
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Cunninghame House


What is the Role? To perform business and systems analysis, programming and support tasks within the Applications section.

What will you do?

Primarily, involved in the implementation, support and development of the Council's commercial off the shelf computer systems, you will join a team of Analyst/Programmers within the IT Services establishments. An ability to work to strict deadlines and to a high standard of quality is essential.

What do you need to bring to the Role?

Preferably educated to Degree level in I.T. related subject (minimum HND), you will be a hard working, motivated team player who can work under supervision and using own initiative. You will have knowledge of relational database technologies and principles alone with knowledge of development principles and programming techniques. Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS; SQL Server; or UNIX Scripting is desirable, however, training will be provided as necessary.
