A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Cash Room Assistant to join a leading firm based in Edinburgh City Centre.
This is a initially a part time position working 3 days per week (Wed / Thurs / Fri) however we will accept candidates looking for a full time role.
You will work as a member of the Cash Room team, helping achieve the departments objectives in providing an efficient and effective service to the firms clients, partners and staff.
You will be responsible for processing of purchase invoices
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Daily payment runs of the firms cheques
Daily and Monthly payments
Filing
Under take any ad-hoc duties under the direction of the Cash Room Manager
To be considered for this role, our client is ideally seeking a SOLAS or equivalent qualification
Previous experience working within a Cash Room
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Adopts a flexible and proactive approach to work duties
Works as part of a team to provide an effective service
Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise
Presents a professional image to internal customers and external organisations
Excellent attention to details
