Head of MI & Business Intelligence Glasgow   £55,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Newly created role with a top performing business based in Glasgow city centre.

A top tier commercial business partner is required to analyse and interpret the high volume, low value transaction data produced by the existing MI systems to inform and advise senior management on strategy, product and business line profitability, trend and segmental analysis, with a key focus on forward looking analysis to support decision making across business lines.

The ideal candidate is likely to have a strong financial / commercial background in a business with high volumes of data.  The role requires superb analytical skills, good written and communication skills with the ability to determine the required dashboards for senior management. 

In addition candidates must be able to demonstrate self motivation and determination, an ability to take responsibility and engage and influence at all levels across the business.  Experience of working with acquisitive businesses and their integration would be a distinct advantage.

As this is a new role, the successful candidate will have the autonomy to make improvements to the current processes, build the MI team and really add value within a top business.
