Quality Assurance Engineer Aberdeen   £excellent + relocation

Our client, a Global provider to the offshore Oil & Gas industry is looking to appoint a new Quality Assurance Engineer based in Aberdeen.

The role will perform audits and assessments in order to monitor the effectiveness of the implementation of the Integrated Management System and formally report the results.

To advise and assist levels of personnel in the preparation of IMS documentation.

To advise and assist all levels of personnel to ensure by joint effort compliance with the Integrated Management System.

Day to day control and updating process of the Technical Standards Library and Management Systems documentation.

Consult with external organisations to keep abreast of the latest developments in Quality and HSE Systems and legislation.

To ensure operations are informed of changes in Certification and Legislation requirements where they impact upon the Company’s business.

To assist in the Company’s drive to maintain accreditation and certification status.

To assist in the collation and maintenance of all records pertaining to the quality system.

To attend and participate in internal and external meetings as required.

To assist in the assessment and review of sub-contractors and suppliers by audit, questionnaire or performance records in order to maintain the Approved Suppliers / Sub- Contractors Lists.

Your experience and background will include:

Minimum of two years experience in the industrial sectors as a QA Engineer

A background in Inspection and/or NDT work activities would be an advantage

Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 certification and UKAS 17020 & 17025 accreditations

Computer literate and experienced in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
