Purchase Ledger Clerk Larbert   £16000 - £18000 per annum

Our client are currently looking to add a purchase ledger clerk to their busy finance team. The role will be to cover maternity leave for a period of between 6 and 12 months. The salary is flexible depending upon experience but I expect the firm to offer at around £17,000. The role will involve all aspects of purchase ledger including:

Processing high volume supplier invoices
Matching, batching and coding supplier invoices
Chasing authorisation for invoices according to company authority list
Dealing with supplier invoices and payment enquiries
Reconciling month end supplier statements
Processing staff expenses

Our client require someone with previous experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential
Ability to prioritise workload is essential
Knowledge of Codas or similar accounting packages would be an advantage
