Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting on behalf of a large multinational commercial business for a contract Project Management Accountant. My client on this occasion is a well known and respected firm within their industry and one that continues to grow and perform in the current markets

The Role

This Project Management Accountant position is a new vacancy on the back of the continued growth within the business and would be suited to a well versed Management Accountant that has recently qualified and is looking for a role that will see them take on specific project reporting and responsibility for several operational cost centres for the business. In the day to day you will be responsible for assisting the cost accounting team in ensuring that the Business Project Managers are supported by preparing the monthly reports and then producing the interpretation and analysis that directly impacts them. You will be responsible for the ownership of the project cost accounting and the monthly period close for the teams which you support. This is a role which offers the perfect blend of both accounting and analytical work as well as being a hugely commercial role that will require a strong and confident individual to win the trust and respect of the operational project managers.

Salary & Benefits

This Contract Project Management Accountant vacancy based in Edinburgh is going to pay the successful candidate in the region of £40k equivalent on an initial 6 month agreement and is to start immediately.
