The High School of Glasgow is seeking to appoint an Estate Manager to manage the facilities at Old Anniesland owned by the High School of Glasgow and the High School of Glasgow Club Ltd which are used by both parties and their affiliated clubs.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the use of the sporting and social facilities and for ensuring these facilities are maintained to a high standard.

We seek an individual who is highly organised and has good interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will have had experience of supervising staff, dealing directly with senior management and dealing with the public. He or she should also be able to plan, schedule and assign work and manage financial budgets.

Previous experience of ground and facilities management would be highly desirable.

Normal working hours are 8.30am-5pm weekdays but the successful applicant will, from time to time, be expected to work such additional hours as may be required to fulfil his/her duties. This would include attending meetings outwith the normal working day, attendance at some weekend events and dealing with urgent and/ or unexpected matters as they arise.

The salary will be in the region of £26,000 depending on experience.
