Title: Depute Headteacher
Location: Largs Academy Roll:1093 Salary: £50,859 School Visit will take place 11 January 2013 @ 2pm Interview date will be 16 January 2013 What is the Role?
To assist the headteacher, and where necessary deputise in their absence, in managing the school and giving strategic direction to all staff within the school.
What will you do?
Within their areas of responsibility, manage and deliver teaching services in accordance with the directions of the headteacher in conformance with the Community Planning Partnership’s Single Outcome Agreement, the Council’s Plan, the Service Improvement Plan and in compliance with the relevant legislation and policy and guidance advice issued by the Scottish Government. Teacher in charge of S2 and S5; Head of Pastoral Care; responsibility for internal exams; responsibility for health and safety policy; chair committees; any other duties assigned by Headteacher.
