Mechanical Engineer – Customer foccused Falkirk (Town)   £26-30k

Hudsons client a Global Manufacturer and servicing client is recruiting a Mechanically minded Engineer for its workshop in the heart of Central Scotland.

This exciting role based within a service orientated environment will be focused towards customer requirements hence solid all round engineering experience with a demonstrable background of working to high standards in a manufacturing or servicing environment where the customer is priority would be beneficial.

Responsibilities may include:

• Preparation of engineering servicing documentation and quotations
• Management of materials and spares
• Management of third parties to ensure timelines met.
• Working with the Customer to keep updated on progress
• General engineering workshop activity

The preferred candidate is expected to be mechanically minded and be either time served within mechanical engineering or have an HND qualification in same. Due to the customer focussed nature of this opportunity strong communication skills ( both written and verbal) are required to be successful in this role in conjunction with attention to detail.
