Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting a Finance Officer on behalf of an Edinburgh based Charity. This is a permanent position based centrally in Edinburgh. As Finance Officer in Edinburgh, you will have a varied set of duties and will report directly to the Finance Manager. More specifically, you will process donations and payments as well as general invoices. You will also prepare daily banking sheets and carry out bank reconciliations, undertake analysis of income and assist with the processing of Payroll for up to 30 staff. In short, we are looking for applicants who have worked in a similar position previously and are happy operating at Accounts Assistant level. You should have good knowledge of transactional Finance procedures and you will be competent when using Microsoft Office/Excel. Charity sector experience would obviously be an advantage but is not essential. Hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. As stated, offices are centrally located in Edinburgh.
Salary & Benefits
As Accounts Assistant in Edinburgh, salary is £17k - £18k plus holidays and access to our client's company pension scheme.
