Management Accountant Dalgety Bay   £Excellent Package including Pension and Private Healthcare

Hudson’s client, a manufacturing business based in Fife, is now in a position to recruit a qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Although there is a preference for applicants being CIMA qualified, those holding ACCA and CA qualifications will also be considered providing they have management accounting experience and come from a manufacturing or similar sector.

The business is in a period of growth due to a very strong order book and the winning of a number of high value contracts. The Finance Director is keen to secure an individual who can be developed over the longer term and who is fully committed to a career with a clear market leader.

Key responsibilities include:

Ø  Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis and associated commentary for budget holders

Ø  Budgeting and forecasting

Ø  Maintaining a number of forecasting models around sales and margins

Ø  Building strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders

Ø  Maintaining accurate contract profitability records and effectively managing risk around ongoing projects

Ø  Reconciling ledgers and ensuring effective controls and procedures are in place

Ø  Leadership and development of the finance team
