Digital Marketing/Social Media Associate Edinburgh   Competitive Dependant on Experience

Eden Scott is a highly successful Professional & Technical recruitment business with over 60 people in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. The company is now well beyond the £12 mill turnover business level and is highly profitable. We are keen to develop our local market share in Scotland, expand our digital presence and boost fee generation in international markets.

Responsible for the successful design, planning and implementation of digital communication marketing solutions and Online talent acquisition strategies. You will partner with senior staff, client account managers, marketing consultants and creative teams to direct how our brands are expressed through digital interactions and how those interactions fit into broader positive client and candidate experiences.

Scope of role:

* Eden Scott company, office and Divisional level PR & Communications activity
* Ad hoc project support on major client campaigns
* Maintenance and incremental improvements to company website
* E-zine support
* Educate all staff on merits and adoption of Online/social media channels
* Ensure that digital marketing output augments and enhances the wider marketing strategy and plans of the business
* Liaison with staff at all levels and external Marketing Consultant
* Forge relationships with key internal & external PR contacts
* Online jobsite relationship management: S1 jobs, Monster, Oil Careers, Jobsite etc
* Liaison with Digital services suppliers
* Coordinating and demanding content from company staff for "Thought Leadership" branding and market positioning activity
* Developing and running Social media strategies at Group and Divisional level eg Twitter, Linked-in, Kiltr & BongoMagic. General Online "communities" development
* Competitor Analysis and benchmarking with Best in class adopters of social media

Person Spec:

* A passion for accountable marketing, advertising , innovation and emerging digital marketing technologies & trends
* Excellent Project Management and multi-tasking skills
* Focus, research capability and accurate reporting
* Determination to help build the Eden Scott brand proposition in all relevant markets
* Ability to bring serious commercial strategies and tactics to the fore, a monetisation focus
* Energetic, takes pride in their quality of output, self-initiative and drive, takes ownership, focus on delivery
* Email/E-CRM savy
* Ideally a good knowledge of our sector processes and markets. Adaptability for working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
