GRADE: Grade 10

PRO RATA SALARY: £14,827 - £16,716 (£16.25 to £18.32 per hour)

HOURS: 17.5 per week

LOCATION: Barrhead Health and Care Centre

An exciting opportunity for a Moving and Handling Advisor has arisen within our Home Care Team.

You will be responsible for carrying out moving and handling risk assessments that comply with health and safety legislation. You will also provide best practice advice and information on moving and handling issues to home care staff, manager and informal carers.

In addition you will assist in the delivery of Moving and Handling training for home care staff and other colleagues within East Renfrewshire’s CHCP.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with protected adults.
