(Temporary until June 2014)

TERM TIME SALARY: £3,119 - £3,302 (£5.98 to £6.33 per hour)
HOURS: 10 per week

LOCATION: Various locations within East Renfrewshire

Undertake duties concerned with the safe passage of school children and other pedestrians across roads to and from school.

Your duties will include control and direction of traffic at crossing areas, operation of hazard warning signs and identification of any road hazards. Also control of the behaviour of children at crossing areas.

The term time salary shown above has been calculated based on the number of term time weeks that apply to this post in relation to the full time salary.

On completion of additional years of service by 1 January of each year, following the anniversary of the date of appointment, your term time salary will be adjusted to include a payment in lieu of the additional leave day accrued at the beginning of each leave year for the first 10 years of service.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children.
