Your new company

An exciting and forward thinking organisation based in Dundee are looking for a Permanent Logistics Office Manager based in Dundee. Salary 35,000 - 45,000 depending on experience + free parking, 34 days annual leave, excellent pension package and private medical cover.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the day to day management and functioning of a busy logistics and supply-chain department. You will oversee the distribution and returns of all company products to and from sales personnel and customers while also maintaining the order database. You will be responsible for the upkeep of all records, databases and department finances. You will be in charge of organising the logistics / distribution of all products to and from the customer. You will be responsible for quality control of the products being shipping out and returned. You will be in charge of all stock control and auditing. You will manage the co-ordination of all bookings and deal with the allocation system for all product orders. You will be responsible for all reporting, records and archiving. You will effectively communicate with Sales Personnel, customers and suppliers regarding orders, including the provision of product information and you will ensure that the department is in line with all policies and procedures including quality, environmental and health and safety.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced people manager within a logistics/distributions or supply-chain background. You will have strong administrative skills including extensive experience dealing with database management, finance management and stock control. You will have excellent I.T Skills in particular with Microsoft Excel. Access and Opera will be highly beneficial but not essential. You will have excellent attention to detail, possess excellent communications skills, have the ability to remain calm in a fast paced, high pressure working environment and ability to work on your own initiative.
