The UK economy is changing – digital disruption, political movements, competition spotlights and economic uncertainty are combining to create a perfect storm for corporate businesses across the country.  With their multi award winning, diverse & visionary outlook, Grant Thornton are acutely aware of the challenges their clients face in the current market and will face in the future – the firm have embarked on an impressive growth journey which will take them into 2020 and beyond as the firm of choice for the modern age.

Grant Thornton in Scotland are no different , with an impressive client base and a strong message to market the firm are well positioned for further growth and as a result they are keen to attract a high calibre Audit Director to lead their external audit efforts in Edinburgh.

The opportunity is a rare one with massive scope for development - the firm has a huge presence in the audit market in Scotland with an array of household names on their client roster across multiple sectors.  Key to this role will be the ability to build on GT’s existing reputation within corporate audit in Scotland, developing new audit connections in the east coast both through competitive tendering and personal/firm networking.  Client audience will be largely AIM listed, larger private business and growth communities with a focus on delivery excellence whilst maintaining strong relationships leading to greater opportunities for the firm.
