An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client - a leading Global professional services company – who are looking for a qualified accountant at an Assistant Manager level, to join their thriving Audit department in Edinburgh. This role will require leading the delivery of audit and assurance engagements from planning, to completion.
Other responsibilities for the role include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients and agreeing audit timetables, and monitoring budgets.
- Supervising and coaching junior members of staff.
- Stakeholder management and providing frequent progress updates throughout assignments.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients.
- Project Management.
Therefore, you must be professionally qualified from a recognised accountancy body (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CPA) and have prior experience working on insurance audits. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of supervisory and project management skills, which will ideally have been gained from working in a ‘Big 4’ Accountancy firm.
