Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to join an established business based in the South Side of Glasgow? If so then please get in touch we would love to hear from you.
Our client is looking to recruit for an experienced Accounts Assistant candidate that can join their busy accounts team due to expansion of the business.
- Processing Purchase Ledger invoices and dealing with any queries
- Bank reconciliations of all bank accounts on a weekly basis
- Liaising with insurers on all claims made
- Review telecom bills on a monthly basis for accuracy
- Responsible for all manual cheque payments/direct debts and posting of journals
- Processing customer cash receipts
- Collating and checking information for weekly wages and liaising with payroll provider
- Responsible for upkeep of weekly paid employee database
- Ad hoc reporting for management on a day to day basis
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates that already have relevant accounting and administration experience, candidates must have relevant experience within a similar position and be comfortable communicating with senior management. You must have the ability to work under pressure, with a flexible and can do work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team, Experience of sage is also desirable.
