Job Title Accounts Coordinator/Assistant

Contract Type Temporary 9-12months

The Role

Performs accurate and timely accounting duties such as calculating, posting, entering and verifying figures.

Processing transactions by checking proper documentation and authorization within department,

Supports departmental personnel in responding to vendors and other FMC Technologies departments inquiries concerning payment, receipts, purchase orders, etc. Prepares necessary documentation related to above.

Assist accountants with clerical accounting type duties, such as preparing correspondence for inter-company locations, and scanning and attaching journal entries in SAP

Maintains accounting files and office supplies.

All other general accounting duties as required by the GBS.

FPSG's exclusive client is a global leader in the Oil and Gas industry. With a very established manufacturing and support services business in Dunfermline, our clients will shortly be opening a Global Shared Services (GBS) operation to enhance their coverage and service across their sites.

Requirements

High school education with minimum Maths and English (or equivalent)

0 - 3 years of office experience including basic accounting skills such as posting, reconciling checking and entering data.

Strong analytical skills, with an attention to detail

Good Excel skills

SAP knowledge would be beneficial

Secondary language would be beneficial but not essential (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic or Norwegian)
