Due to the continuous success of the business my client is looking to add another 1st line support Analyst to provide 24/7 out of hours support (Nightshift from 7pm-7am- 1 week on/ 1 week off) to their established support function.
As an organisation my client invests a lot of money in technology, so the application environment is very up to date / cutting edge so it will be challenging, but at the same time career making.
The team is growing so my client is flexible on the level of experience required, and full training is on offer. I'm keen to speak to graduates, as well as experienced Application support professionals.
It should be noted that there is huge opportunity to progress both technically and professionally. A number of employee's going in a junior levels have been given the opportunity to become a seasoned Database Administrator, this role should not only attract individuals that are keen to specialise in the application support arena and but individuals that are keen on Database Administration both Oracle and SQL.
Key Responsibilities / Requirements:
** Provide 1st Line support as well as resolving and recording customer related issues
** Escalate issues to 2nd and 3rd line teams to achieve speedy and accurate resolutions of issues
** Maintaining and improving Configuration Items and general data integrity databases
** Resolve 1st line relational database issues on platforms such as Oracle and SQL Server etc.
** General administrative duties, including rotation creation and maintenance
** Participate in Nightshift patterns- 7pm-7am- 1 week on, 1 week off.
** Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server would be a distinct advantage, but graduates with solid educational background will be considered.
** Good working knowledge of data entry, maintenance and management of enterprise solution products
** Good Knowledge or working experience with enterprise software would be highly desirable
** Ability to learn new software products quickly combined with a genuine interest & enthusiasm
** Excellent communication skills, combined with previous experience in a customer facing technical Service Desk environment
