Part time 18.5 hours per week and Fixed Term 1 year
ADA is an award winning charity, operating specialist services to reduce harms and promote recovery of individuals and families affected by alcohol & drugs in the North East of Scotland. We’re looking for a Grants Officer to join our team of enthusiastic, passionate people who really want to make a difference. If you’ve got a degree and/or are QBE, and are known in the office for your compelling corporate storytelling which would make any potential funding body want to part with their cash, if you are good at relationship building and possess abilities in keeping multiple programmes on track and on target, then we want to hear from you.
You’ll be working alongside our CEO and Business & Finance Manager to implement the funding strategy for the organisation, helping to maximise current and potential funding sources, so our frontline staff can continue helping those who need it most. You’ll need to be flexible to fit in with meeting deadlines and knowing your way around a funding application is vital. About Drugs Action
Drugs Action provides a range of services to drug & alcohol users, their families & the community in the Grampian area.
The overall aim of Drugs Action is to reduce the harms associated with drug & alcohol use and promote recovery. Interventions range from advice and information regarding 'safer' drug use through to intensive work with dependent drug users to support positive changes in their drug use and related areas. A range of services are also available to family members, these range from information and advice through to intensive one to one counselling.
