Temporary 3 Month Contract (Possible Extension)

My Client is a large multi-national organisation based in the West Lothian area. Due to continued success, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Finance Assistant to support their busy finance function. This will be on a temporary basis estimated to last 3 months with a possible extension.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining General Ledger accounts
  • Preparing and processing journal entries, prepayments and accruals
  • Bank reconciliations for a number of Cost Centres
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining inter-company accounting
  • Maintaining the Fixed Asset

To be considered for this position, Candidates must have the following background and experience:

  • Solid accounts experience is essential
  • Ideally, you will have experience of working within a fast paced high volume environment
  • Excellent data analysis and manipulation skills
  • Able to work within a team environment and complete own workload to meet deadlines
  • Good IT skills including Excel to intermediate level and financial software packages
