HFD Group Ltd is now expanding with a number of major projects underway and need a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious Accounts Assistant to join our growing team. We are a major UK property business specialising in commercial property development, construction, property management, data services and all aspects of asset management services. For 30 years we have been providing our tenants and clients with the best sustainable working environment possible.
The small Finance team covers a range of companies so the ability to prioritise and adapt whilst maintaining a high standard of accuracy is essential. Primary function will be sales ledger based but all round finance duties will also be required.
A working knowledge of Sage Line 200 and Trace Solution’s property management system, “TRAMPS”, is preferred but not essential.
Key responsibilities include (though will not be limited to):
Processing sales invoices
Dealing with customer queries
Monthly bank reconciliations
Producing monthly management accounts
Banking covenant testing
Input into improving processes across the financial department
Involvement in team projects
Minimum skills required include:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
IT literacy and ability to use computer packages.
Good working knowledge of Word and Excel are essential.
Numerate and accurate when working with figures.
Flexible, willing to adapt to new tasks and duties with a positive attitude.
Organised, methodical approach to work.
Ability to work as part of a busy team and prioritise workload.
