James Strang Ltd is a multi-discipline Fencing and Civil Engineering Company based in Denny, Falkirk, with contracts throughout Scotland. Due to continuous expansion, we are seeking to recruit a part time admin/accounts assistant to join our well-established accounts team.

The vacancy is for all day Monday and Thursday weekly but flexibility for additional hours would be desirable.

Key Duties

  • Processing of weekly timesheets and carrying through to conclusion of payment
  • Assisting with purchase and sales ledger processing
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Reception cover             
  • Generally assistance within the accounts department

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills written and oral English
  • Good IT and Microsoft Office Skills
  • Prepared to work hard on repetitive tasks

Desirable requirements

  • Previous payroll experience
  • Previous SAGE 200 and SAGE 50 experience
  • Have own transport due to the location of the business
  • Experience working in a similar environment
