Allen Accountancy Recruitment's client is one of Scotland's largest independent accountancy practices. The firm currently requires an experienced Payroll Administrator to join its Payroll Services Team.
The role will involve all aspects of payroll administration and the work load varies depending the clients’ payroll needs. Payrolls are required for different pay periods (i.e. weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly)
• PAYE & NIC calculations
• Absence payments for SSP, SMP and SPP
• Real Time Information (RTI) administration
• Pensions auto-enrolment support
• Tax year end procedures, for current payroll service clients and other clients, as required
• Any other appropriate tasks, as directed
Successful candidates must be able to work within a very busy office environment to provide first-class services to our varied client base. You must have a good breadth of payroll experience and appropriate exposure to all aspects of payroll administration, including RTI and pension auto-enrolment, in order to contribute effectively to our small team. You should preferably hold appropriate qualifications in Maths and English. Training support towards a professional qualification will be considered for the successful candidate.
