Payroll Representative

HR1 EMEA Service Centre delivers HR & Payroll services across the EMEA region. Services include HR transactional and administration service, payroll service delivery and benefits administration.

Position Objective
The HR1 payroll representative provides end to end payroll processing in conjunction with the in country payroll vendors in the UK and Ireland

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and processing payroll information in conjunction with country payroll vendors in a timely manner
- Calculation of payroll input data where appropriate
- Preparing and distributing payroll reports to internal and external customers
- Preparing all tax year end reports in accordance with country legislationProviding first line support for all payroll and tax relates queries
- Maintaining payroll manuals and related payroll instructions
- Assisting and supporting internal and external audit teams
- Working with HR and Financial Planning & Analysis partners where required
- Supporting our Field HR Generalist group with ad-hoc requests & projects
- Implementing benefits payments on payroll
- Production of monthly metrics detailing case management data
- Developing process improvement within assigned countries and beyond
- Participating in business/functional projects as required

Skill/Experience Required:
- Experience and Technical knowledge of end to end UK payroll processing )
- Experience of working within a HR / payroll function or commercial business environment
- Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Skills, specifically enhanced excel skills (including Pivot Tables & Look Up)
- Ability to provide an excellent customer experience to ensure all payroll queries are managed effectively
- Strong organisational skills to ensure the timely completion of a large volume of work, within required time scale
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within the organisation
- Accuracy, attention to detail and numeracy skills are essential
- Ability to identify and implement process improvement
- Any other duties as required
