ASA currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified Financial Manager to join our client's growing team based in Glasgow city centre.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and as part of the Senior Management Team the role is responsible for all aspects of financial accounting and payroll for the group leading a small finance and payroll team.

The Finance Manager will also be responsible for the production of monthly group consolidated management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations including management of the fixed asset register Group VAT returns.

The Financial Manager will also provide cost centre analysis to support budget holders and assist with budgeting and forecasting the role.

The role will also oversee the payroll department and support the Financial Controller with hoc financial projects.

Key Responsibilities

·Managing and developing a small finance and payroll team
·Producing monthly group consolidated management accounts and accompanying variance analysis
·Full monthly balance sheet reconciliations
·Overseeing the production of the quarterly group VAT team
·Weekly cash flow forecasting
·Overseeing the management of the accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers
·Producing a yearly budget P&L balance sheet and cash flow statement for the Group
·Producing a quarterly P&L balance sheet and cash flow statement for the Group
·Liaising with key external stakeholder's such as auditors and the bank

Essential Skills Include -

·Fully CIMA ACCA ICAS qualified with minimum 2 years post qualification experience
·Experience of managing and developing a small team
·Ability to prioritise, plan own workload and the work of others in a fast paced environment
·Strong excel skills
·Pro active self-starter with confident and resilient can-do attitude
·Highly developed stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate and influence all levels
·Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised
