Dalbeattie High School
You will be required to work 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
You will be a key member of the non –teaching staff and will be responsible for providing general assistance in the School Office and the Home Economics Department as described in the Job Description.
Dalbeattie High School will have a new school by autumn 2017, sharing the campus with Dalbeattie Primary School as part of the Scottish Government's New Future Trust programme.
You must have Standard Grade Level 3 or equivalent in English and Mathematics. Experience of working with children and young people is desirable.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check, will be required to provide a completed police record check from the police authority in the country or countries in which they were resident.
The above salary includes a current living wage supplement.
