Temporary Logistics Administrator Dunblane   úNegotiable DOE

Temporary 6 Month Contract

My Client is a successful organisation with the Supply Chain sector. They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Logistics Administrator to support them on a temporary basis estimated to last 6 months.

Based within a small team, you will work closely with a number of internal departments and external Haulier to ensure orders are despatched on time and Customers receive excellent service levels.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Organise, distribute and control the order of all traffic operations in the Logistics team
  • Raise Haulier POs
  • Ensure Haulier Costs are Applied
  • Monitor that all orders are "allocated" and staged accurately and in a timely manner to meet Haulier book in times and scheduled delivery due date to customer
  • Maintain vehicle booking system on daily basis
  • Ensure that all the required documentation and computer entries are completed accurately in accordance with all company policies to meet despatch schedules
  • Preparation and issue of all despatch paperwork to delivery drivers
  • Attend weekly planning meetings
  • Support with collating and issuing reports e.g. late deliveries to customer due date and reasons.

To be considered for this position, Candidates must have the following background and experience:

  • Solid experience of working within a similar administration position
  • Able to work in a busy, fast paced, high processing environment
  • Able to process data accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional planning, prioritising and problem solving skills
  • Good IT skills including MS Word and Excel
