Our client is the regions leading provider of sports and leisure facilities offering unrivalled choice, quality and affordability.

They are currently recruiting for the position of a Part-Time Administrator, based in Dunfermline, Scotland.

Job Description

Candidate will carry out administration and clerical tasks for the company's Health and Physical Activity team. This will include the processing of referrals and all correspondence/processes relating to the health class programmes. Registration of health class referrals onto internal and external databases (ensuring all personal information is recorded correctly and any missing information is sourced). Preparation and issuing of letters/invites to clients. Liaise with class instructors to advise of new clients and to seek attendance information. Preparation of management reports including statistical information. Minute taking at meetings with both internal and external colleagues in attendance. Management of petty cash for team. Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone, email or letter.

Skills and Experience

Essential: 4 Standard Grades (Grade level 3) or equivalent including English and Mathematics. Administration qualification at a minimal level of SVQ/NVQ 3 or equivalent. Word processing and database management experience. Ability to analysis data using excel functions to provide statistics for monthly reports. Minute taking experience. Excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of administrative and database systems. Excellent time management skills, prioritisation and organisational skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work on own initiative Ability to meet strict deadlines. Excellent oral, numerical and written skills. Ability to be diplomatic and skilled in dealing with customers and colleagues. Maintain Confidentiality, Honesty and reliability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal. Ability to provide regular and effective service. Desirable: Higher English SVQ/NVQ in Business Administration. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous. Experience of office administration.

This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is 7.48 per hour.
