Hours: Part time: 13.5 hours a week, Monday and Tuesday 9.00-5.00 (1 hour 15 minutes for lunch)
We are looking to recruit a Partner’s Secretary to support David Ogilvy and his team on a part time, job share basis.
You will be working in a busy team providing a full range of audio and copy typing, administration and general secretarial duties including diary and email management. Support in managing charity applications, grant-making and direct contact with beneficiaries will also be required.
This role requires someone with previous legal secretarial experience and strong pc skills including Word and Outlook.
You should have good organisational skills, be a highly effective communicator and be able to assist in dealing with clients and contacts on the telephone and by email.
You should be a good communicator, adaptable, hardworking, organised, efficient and able to work on your own initiative. You should also be proactive, willing to learn and motivated to enhance your role within the team. Accurate typing is important, as is attention to detail generally.
The role ideally requires someone with a strong secretarial background who has worked as part of a team. Although that experience need not necessarily be within a legal firm, this would be advantageous.
You will be provided with full training on our software packages, such as Envision and Winscribe. You should be proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
