Background Information

Finance Services provides Finance Support Services to all parts of the Forestry Commission. Its main tasks include, Sales and Purchase Ledger, Banking, Finance Systems Management, and Credit Management.

Purpose of the Job

To provide customer focused financial and accounting services, delivered in an efficient, effective and economic manner.

Key Work Areas

As part of the Finance Services team you will provide a wide range of finance services.

Using the e-financials software and Sales Recording packages to create and maintain supplier and customer records, raising customer invoices, processing supplier invoices and producing financial reports.

Act as point of contact for customer/supplier enquiries.

Assisting Finance Services Manager with banking duties including downloading bank transaction information, bank account reconciliations and cash planning.
