Headland Archaeology are looking to recruit a Business Support/ Office Manager to join their team at their Edinburgh Head Office. They are looking for someone with a solid background in administration and business support; the role requires a knowledge of HR and Finance.
The sort of person we would like to employ would need:
- A solid background in business administration with a minimum of three years’ experience at a managerial level;
- Experience providing HR support and a willingness to write or review policy and procedures;
- Knowledge and experience of financial processes and an ability to both deliver personally, and to manage others in delivering, support to the company Finance Manager in such tasks as credit control, company payroll etc.;
- Be an advanced user, or be comfortable using all Microsoft programmes and be happy to learn new systems.

It is essential that applicants have previous experience of managing a small team and are comfortable with providing general HR support across the organisation.
The role is based in the Edinburgh office of Headland Archaeology but will involve occasional travel to other Regional Offices and/or project locations.
The role is advertised as full-time but may be flexible with negotiation.
It is anticipated that interviews will be held on Tuesday 31st January at Headland’s Edinburgh Office.
