Applications are invited for this post in the Development Office. We seek a bright, highly motivated and professional colleague who will be responsible for database administration, the production of management information in the form of reports and financial statistics from a complex relational database, prospect identification and research and prospect management. You would join a friendly, team-spirited office comprised of eight individuals tasked with continuing the College’s success in alumni relations and fundraising. The Database and Research Officer has a vital, varied and interesting role within the Development Office. The basic tasks are the management of the database and the oversight of gift administration in support of the core activities of the office. Data modelling and analytics is an increasingly important part of the job in order to maximise the potential of the Regular Giving Programme, in particular. Financial statistics and other management information are required on a regular basis. The person appointed will be expected to be flexible and to be able to produce the statistics and analysis sometimes at short notice.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in an office environment and successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. You will be ambitious and target driven and have the ability to work with large amounts of data quickly and accurately. A good, cooperative, team player is essential for this small friendly office.

The salary will be at University Grade 5 Scale £25,769 to £29,847 dependent on level of experience. Benefits include contributory pension scheme, generous holidays, free lunch, and use of sports facilities.
