The role is for 29.6 hours per week, equivalent to 4 days a week

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic person to further develop and promote a positive, rich experience for students at Hereford College of Arts, supporting our recruitment and retention strategy.
This role will look to support and raise the profile of the Student Union, ensure the student voice is listened to and play an active part within the Communications & Marketing team, assisting with events and the production of College literature.
Your duties will include arranging elections for the Student Union, having regular meetings with Course Reps, and producing promotional literature to support student activities such as Fresher’s Week. You will also be required to support the External Engagement & Development Manager over an annual cycle of initiatives that assist with student recruitment and communicating with prospective students.
This post will require a good level of customer care skills and experience in organising events, preferably with some graphic design experience. You should also be self-motivated, friendly, energetic and have excellent communication skills. Ideally, you will have recent experience of degree level study, preferably within the arts.
