FPSG's exclusive client is a global leader in IT - servers, storage, networking, consulting and support; With the continuing expansion our cleints have an opening within their Commercial Team for a Business Analyst to support the Sales Managers with data, information and reports to enhance and develop strategic sales focus.

Role Responsibilities

As a Commercial Business Analayst your job function will be to
* Conduct and summarize complex data and business analysis to develop business plans, including revenue, margin and demand projections for the UK&I HP Inc Commercial business
* Construct statistical and financial models with minimal direction to forecast business performance.
* Define the metrics required to measure business performance, and compare actual data to forecasted values.
* Execute market research projects, gather intelligence on current industry, technology, and consumer trends, and summarize research findings tailored to business needs.
* Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate the data collection and performance measurement process, and escalate issues as necessary. Make contributions to research and analysis on priority projects within established guidelines
* Conduct quantitative and qualitative business models and analysis to contribute to large projects.

Person Specification
* As a successful Commercial Business Analyst, you will have:
* Good level of experience within sales account management, strategy & planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.
* Strong knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling. Understanding of Microsoft Power BI would be advantageous
* Advanced excel and power point.
* Previous experience with data bases (oracle / SAP / business objects)
* Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage data requests.
* Strong analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
* Modelling / forecasting (revenue / sales / inventory / market projection)

Reward Package
32k - 35k per annum, 37.5hours per week, 25 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
