We’re looking for a skilled and extremely well organised self-starter to join team CELCIS as a Learning and Events Coordinator. In this exciting role we’re looking for someone with the experience to help us plan, promote and coordinate our own and others’ events, seminars and conferences. You’ll also offer excellent team working and relationship-building skills to support the learning and events work we deliver alongside our partners, at both local and national levels.

You’ll have an excellent track record in an events and/or learning environment, and solid experience in the planning, facilitation and co-ordination of events large and small. You will demonstrate that you can rise to the challenge of events management and go that extra mile when required. You will offer innovative approaches at the same time as putting in the practical groundwork required to deliver successful events.

With solid writing skills, you’ll have the ability to prepare accessible and engaging promotional material. You will demonstrate excellent budget management and be able to offer ideas for future income generation. You will share our commitment to making positive, lasting change in the lives of vulnerable children and their families, and play an important part in promoting CELCIS’s sector-leading services across all events and to existing and potential partners.

The post is initially funded for 1 year, with indicative funding for a further 2 years.

Initial interviews are scheduled for 24 October 2016.
