The Arnold Clark Group are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Estates Coordinator to join their expanding Estates Department.
Based at our new head office in Hillington, Glasgow the candidate will be required to work under their own initiative in a fast moving environment and deal with all operations within the department between contractors and branch staff.
Responsible for maintaining and coordinating maintenance/building work via the works order system the individual will organise and manage quotations, along with planning all work from start to finish. Processing invoices and basic accounts will be required. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office packages such an Excel, PowerPoint and Word as weekly reporting on all figures and stats is essential.
Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm.
Excellent administration and organisation skills will be required for this role. Contractor management and control experience is preferred and the ability to communicate confidently with external contractors is essential. Must have the ability to plan and programme the work of the department to suit key dates. Experience with regulatory testing or compliance would be an advantage.
A proven track record in a similar Construction/Maintenance related role would be preferred.
Reporting to the Small Works Manager the position offers an attractive package for the right candidate.
