Our client, who is based within the public sector, have an urgent requirement for a Recruitment Administrator. This is a temporary requirement and is based in the south side of Glasgow. The pay rate is £8.87 per hour and hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
A basic Disclosure Scotland issued within the last 12 months or newly applied for is required.

Main responsibilities

- Entering high volume application form data into a dedicated recruitment database
- Ensuring individual candidate database records are kept up to date
- Shortlisting candidates against a predetermined criteria, and using own judgement where appropriate
- Producing basic database reports
- Ensuring electronic and paper files are updated on a daily basis
- Making up applicant packs to send to third party supplier
- Requesting and managing return of recruitment checks (PVG, references, occupational health etc)
- Providing a single point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment journey from application to outcome
- Maintaining a large spreadsheet of candidate data accurately

Essential experience

- High volume data entry (or very similar role)
- Strong customer service experience
- Experience working in a pressured / targeted environment
- Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
