Are you extremely organised and enjoy spinning many plates? Do you have great attention to detail? Would you like to work for a national charity making a real difference in people's lives? Have you had experience working in the 3rd sector before?
If you have answered yes to these questions then this could be the job for you. You will be working as part of the executive team which consists of 3 EA's and 1 PA looking after the directors and CEO. Your role will be to look after one of the Directors within the group; you will be the first point of contact for people both internally and externally. You will make sure the Director is always prepared for any meetings, presentations, appraisals and events. Managing financial and HR systems is also something you will have to do for the Director. Minute by minute diary management along with arranging travel for the Director is something you will definitely have to have experience with. You will also be heavily involved with arranging events, consisting of sourcing venues, organising suppliers, forming guest list and ensuring the event runs from start to finish with no blips.
To be successful in this role you will need to be extremely proactive, innovative and willing to go that extra mile to ensure tasks are carried out. You will be a team player that will cover other Directors when holidays or absences arise. You must be engaging, friendly, and most importantly passionate about helping others.
You will be joining a great team! One that has a common goal of driving the charity forward ensuring it is the best it possibly can be. Working in their amazing offices in the city centre with travel through to Edinburgh, expenses paid.
