About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Regional Support Officer to join the Scotland Team at our office in Glasgow. This role is pivotal in the provision of supporter care to churches, groups and individuals who are raising funds, campaigning and praying to expose the scandal of poverty and contribute effectively to its eradication. The Regional Support Officer is a supporter facing role, building relationships and delivering on Christian Aid’s plans for growth in fundraising, campaigning and church focused work across Scotland. This role will be responsible for maintaining and interpreting accurate supporter data and the post holder will be required to work cross organisationally to ensure processes are efficient and consistent.

About you

With a solid track record of administration and database work you will ideally also have experience of church structures and denominations. You will be used to dealing with the general public face-to-face, by telephone and in written communications and be able liaise with, and build relationships with, a broad range of people in a friendly, outgoing and positive manner.  You’ll be someone who can work under pressure in a busy office environment, be flexible and have an eye for detail as well as a systematic approach to work. Also desirable would be a good knowledge of the local area, understanding new media technologies and marketing or sales experience.
