An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join the Finance unit within the Cardonald Campus. The main focus of the role is to provide an efficient, professional range of services including purchase, sales, general ledger and to contribute to the delivery of the College finance function’s operational plan.
The Finance Administrator will be responsible for processing, analysis and reconciliation of income and expenditure including orders, invoices, payments and receipts. Experience of dealing with customer enquiries, spread sheets and computerised accounting systems is essential. Knowledge and understanding of general accounting and reporting is desirable. Experience of working in a finance environment dealing with significant value transactions is essential.
You will be educated to SCQF level 7 or have significant relevant experience in the specialist area. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and will be capable of working to deadlines. Evidence of continuing professional development and a qualification in IT at SCQF level 5 or above (e.g. ECDL) is also essential.

Salary: £20,752 per annum (pro rata)
