Orkney College UHI wishes to add to the supply list for people able to undertake the role of Receptionist.
The position of Receptionist has a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the main office. Duties are varied and will include dealing with enquiries whether through the main switchboard, face to face or by e-mail in a timely and courteous manner, processing mail, undertaking photocopying, binding, filing and other office tasks as required. In addition the post holder provides administration support to college staff including the short course department by assisting in the preparation of materials, course certificates and inputting student enrolments forms.
Applicantsshould holdSVQ2 in Administration or equivalent, should have experience in dealing with members of the public, as well as using a range of Microsoft Office packages.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
