The successful candidates will be responsible to the Duty Manager for the efficient day to day operation of the reception service within Renfrewshire Leisure, liaise with members of the public, answer telephone calls, operate a computerised till and booking system, cash handling, reconciliation of cash and any other duties as required. You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and use every opportunity to interact with customers to promote and sell the range of facilities and activities available at the centre.
It is essential you have excellent customer care and communication skills, with a friendly, approachable and positive attitude; previous reception experience, cash handling experience and are computer literate. Additionally, you must be able to use initiative and work unsupervised and as part of a team. An SVQ Customer Service/Care Level 2/3 and experience within the leisure industry is desirable.
Successful candidates must have a flexible approach regarding hours worked to suit the needs of the service.
Post hours are 37 hours per week and 18.5 hours per week. The 18.5 hour post is to cover maternity leave, commencing 4th January 2014 for approximately 6 months.The annual salary for working 18.5 hours is £9,313.
