Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) is unique in Scotland and one of the largest organisations of its kind in Europe. Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in the agriculture and rural sectors. SRUC has four divisions, SRUC Research, Education, Finance and Professional Services, and SAC Consulting.

The Rural Policy Centre is looking to recruit a Rural Society Researcher to complement and enhance its current research activities. We are seeking to appoint a researcher who has a strong and dynamic skill-set in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, with a particular focus on the latter. We require an individual who has undertaken analysis of economic and social change at regional level, with a particular focus on understanding the dynamics of rural communities.
