Customer Service Sales Advisors

We are looking for outstanding Customer Service Sales Advisors to join us and be part of the family. You will thrive on going the extra mile, keeping promises and caring that the customer is happy.
You will be responsible for taking inbound calls from our customers who have a variety of different enquiries on their account. You will be dealing with everything from discussing energy efficiency to updating meter readings and processing payments, along with assisting customers who are moving home. You will also be help customers on how to manage their energy bills and gain an understanding of the customer's ability to pay. With excellent customer service skills you will resolve their query in the most welcoming and efficient way possible, in line with our Customer Service Guarantee, whilst creating a relationship with the customer to identify if any of our additional products may be beneficial to them. As part of delivering first class customer service, you will be expected to promote our package of money saving products and services that we offer which include Shield (boiler cover), Electric & Wiring cover along with Telephone and Broadband to name a few.
To be successful in this role, we require you to have a high level of Customer Service experience, along with excellent pc skills, and be competent in working with multiple systems. You must also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, listening skills, and have extensive experience working within a sales and target driven environment.
We invest in our most valuable assets – our people. All roles are supported by a 6 week classroom based training programme that is fun, interactive and customised to meet the needs of our customers. This is then followed by support and guidance from experienced Team Managers and advisors to enhance your skills. Please be aware that we are unable to authorise any time off during the initial training period.
Positions are based within our state of the art contact centre in Cumbernauld. Facilities include free on site parking, Gym and a canteen. As an SSE employee you will also benefit from a Company Pension, Share Save, discounts on energy products, child care vouchers and more.
All positions are permanent, 37 hrs per week and you must be flexibile to work between the hours of 7am and 8pm Monday to Friday, including rotational Saturdays. The start date is Monday 25th March 2013.
