Supporting the operation and delivery of Hall, Community Centre and Community Learning and Development (CLD) Centre programme and activity. Direct responsibility for the security and smooth operation of buildings and surrounding grounds.
Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.Requirements
Experience of cleaning, setting up and dismantling equipment is essential. Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Manual Handling and Risk Assessment are desirable.
The applicant must be able to show an awareness of security issues. It is also essential that you have the ability to carry out paper and computer based booking systems. You must be able to work with a range of client groups and service users.
A full induction along with mandatory Health and Safety training will be given.Responsibilities Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a range of buildings within the Community Resources portfolio. Ensuring facilities open appropriately and are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Operate booking procedures and systems. Provide a high standard of customer service. Reporting, recording and following up on emergency and non-emergency repairs
