Mobile Contract Cleaning Operative (Temporary)
To cover Dumfries and surrounding area

You will be required to work 20 hours per month (approx. 5 hours per week), 52 weeks per year. You must be flexible to cover service requirements and work 5 out of 7 as required. Working times and locations will be discussed at interview.

Tasks associated with void property cleaning include:
Floor surfaces – sweep, mop, vacuum
Kitchen surfaces – wash to grease-free finish
Bathroom surfaces – wash to stain-free finish
Other surfaces including windows and facia – wash to stain-free finish

Previous void property cleaning experience is desirable. A good knowledge of COSHH and prevention of cross contamination would be advantageous.

A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.

This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.

The above salary includes a current living wage supplement.

This is a temporary post for a period of up to 3 months. This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
