We're looking for people who can undertake duties at short notice to cover vacant shifts.
• receive full training and support;
• be paid at the current rate of £8.33 per hour;
• be appreciated by lots of young people and parents
Duties include ensuring the safe crossing and controlling the behaviours of children at crossing points. Typically core hours are between 8.30-9.15am and 3.00 -4.00pm approximately with some local variation.
You may also be required to operate switches, keys etc on traffic light control boxes, pedestrian crossings and other equipment.
You will be able to handle issues with tact and sensitivity, be
enthusiastic, energetic and have a friendly manner and able to communicate well with people of all ages.
A Knowledge of the Highway Code is desirable as is previous work with children in a paid or voluntary capacity
